Update 2/14/09: Great news! The first of my privately tutored high school students to graduate from Mahanaim Art was accepted to her first choice art college and received $40,000 in scholarship money! She later received an additional $8,000 per year in additional scholarship based on her portfolio.Big congrats to Ms. A!!

July 2008: My article discussing the Open Figure Drawing Workshops that I run appeared in ImagineFX magazine. Check out the article here!

 

May 2008: At the end of this month, I will have been back in Los Angeles for one year. Woo!

 

May 2007: Moved back to Los Angeles, California to start teaching.

 

May 2007: Invited to exhibit digital paintings in the show “Sumus Vicinae”, an invitational group show of international artists to be held in Paris, France.

 

April 2006: Invited to write 2 cover related articles for ImagineFX magazine, leading digital arts publication.

October 2006: Launched www.foundationalarts.com, a joint personal website / forum dedicated to the foundations of figurative art with friend Joel Carlo.

For projects relating to the Anatomy Forum, I received as part of a BOXX Sponsorship a free BOXX Workstation at a value of over $3,000.

 

December 2005: My article on drawing, “Drawing Lessons: Opposing Curves (Nudity)” was published online by the CGSociety. It has enjoyed immense popularity and has been referenced on numerous international websites.
